Comparative Premarco Kit and Traditional Kit

What is the difference?

The main differences presented by Premarco in Kit compared to the traditional preframe are that the Premarco in Kit uses glued wood and a universal head that can be adapted, allowing for easy assembly without specialized tools, while the traditional one uses solid wood that can be bent and requires professional assembly.

In addition, the Premarco in Kit has a fixing system that does not damage the wood and facilitates efficient transport, taking up less space.

Finally, it uses PEFC certified wood from sustainable sources, unlike the traditional one, which uses unregulated wood.

For more details, see the table below:

Premarco comparison
Premarco Kit Amargós Premarco Simple or Premarco Traditional
Composed of 2 braces and 1 head, they are made from veneered wood using a high-frequency gluing system, which neutralizes the wood's grain and ensures that the braces are completely straight with greater consistency and durability. Composed of 2 braces and 1 head, and made from solid 1-piece wood (it tends to twist due to the wood's knots).
The universal head: This allows the same head to be used for up to 12 different door widths. A different head is used for each door width.
Assembly: The easy-to-assemble KIT system allows you to install a Premarco without the need for machinery or specific tools; all you need is a hammer, two nails, and a saw. This system allows for the pre-frame to be installed directly on the construction site and does not require specialized personnel. Assembly: A mounting table, tools, and specialized personnel are required to ensure that the Premarco is properly mounted and square.
Wall mounting system: The Amargós fixing hook significantly facilitates the installation of the Premarcos. Unlike before, the Premarcos are already equipped with a hook that will fix them to the wall. This means a saving of work and the assurance that the wood will remain intact, since it does not require any additional external fixing. The transport system is convenient and safe, since the hooks, being integrated into the Premarcos themselves, do not cause any inconvenience during transport or storage. Furthermore, since the hooks are part of the wooden Premarcos, there is no risk of losing the pieces, which could happen if the fixing were external. Wall mounting system: It is done using traditional nails or hooks, which are usually placed on-site by the builder, who then nails them in with a hammer, potentially damaging the Premarco during installation.
Transport: Assembly of Premarco directly on the site significantly reduces the logistical and storage costs that the assembled Premarco requires. A trailer can hold 4,000 disassembled precats: they take up 8 times less space than the assembled ones. Transport: The Premarcos are transported to the construction site assembled, occupying 500 precogs the load capacity of a trailer.
Made with PEFC certified wood: In 2009, Amargós obtained the PEFC certificate (Programme for the Recognition of Forest Certification Systems) in accordance with the Chain of Custody of Forest Products, which means that, to manufacture its products, it uses only raw materials sourced from forests managed in a sustainable manner. Wood of non-controlled origin.
