A link between tradition and innovation

In 1972, José and Manuel Amargós founded the company.

Since then, at AMARGÓS we have supplied wood products for construction, renovation and DIY, always remaining faithful to our values.

50 years later, we have managed to establish a presence throughout the whole country and have adapted our product portfolio to the needs of the market, leading in innovation.

Today our goal remains the same as yesterday: to exceed expectations, to continue strengthening relationships with our clients, to maintain the link between tradition and technological innovation, to be responsible and, ultimately, to continue raising the bar.

In-house Manufacturing and Zero Kilometres

We manufacture 100% of our products within the country to reduce air pollution and strengthen the local economy.

50% of the energy consumed at our facilities comes from photovoltaic sources, in order to reduce our environmental impact.

We transform sawdust and wood shavings into materials such as chipboard panels or animal bedding to give them a second life.

We have replaced plastic with recycled and recyclable strapping in our main products to reduce waste generation.

Quality Certificates

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit global organisation that promotes sustainable forest management to achieve a social, economic and environmental balance within them.

The objective of PEFC is to ensure that the world's forests are managed responsibly, and that their multitude of functions are protected for present and future generations. To achieve this, it relies on the collaboration of landowners and companies in the forestry sector who, by committing to the certification of their forests and industries, are ensuring the sustainability of the sector.
